Rigveda Yajna's Details
Deity: Lord Indra (Indra Dev) and Lord Agni (Agni Dev)
About the Puja: The Rigveda is the oldest scripture in the Hindu tradition. The first of the four Vedas. Composed thousands of years ago, it contains over a thousand hymns dedicated to the gods, with the largest number addressed to Indra (the king of the gods) and Agni (the sacred fire). The Rigveda Yajna is the fire ritual built around these original hymns. It is one of the most powerful and most ancient yajnas in existence. To have it performed is to participate in the same tradition that the earliest sages of India established.
Our verified Vedic priests perform the yajna with the chanting of selected Rigvedic hymns dedicated to Indra and Agni. The offerings are made into the sacred fire with each verse. Families book this puja for the welfare of the world, for parental blessings, for the abundance that comes from timely rain and good harvests, and for the deep improvement of the family's overall condition. Muhurat is taken fresh from the Panchang. Book Rigveda Yajna with us, and we handle the full vidhi.
