Deity: Lord Brihaspati (Brihaspati Dev) and Lord Rahu (Rahu Dev), invoked together

About the Puja: Guru Chandal Yog forms when Jupiter (Brihaspati, the cosmic teacher of wisdom) and Rahu (the shadow planet of confusion and craving) come together in the same house. The name carries the meaning. The noble teacher seated beside the unruly outcast. It is not cruel. It describes the inner tension this combination creates. Jupiter offers wisdom. Rahu offers temptation. The devotee's life becomes the battleground. Wisdom is heard but not heeded. Addictions take root despite intelligence. Friendships form with people who drag the devotee away from their better self.

Guru Chandal Yog is not a verdict on the devotee's character. It is a teaching about the difficulty of holding wisdom when desire is loud. Our verified Vedic priests perform the puja with mantras dedicated to Brihaspati Dev and Rahu Dev. The havan uses yellow flowers and chana dal for Jupiter. Dark cloth and til for Rahu. The puja does not destroy Rahu's energy. It subordinates Rahu's pull to Brihaspati's wisdom. It makes the cosmic teacher loud enough that the devotee can finally hear him. Muhurat is taken fresh from the Panchang. Book Guru Chandal Dosh Puja with us, and we handle the full vidhi.
