Haritalika Teej Vrat Katha's Details

Deity: Lord Shiva and Mata Parvati, the divine couple

About the Puja: Haritalika Teej is a sacred fast for women. It honours the union of Lord Shiva and Mata Parvati. The shastras tell how Parvati won Shiva as her husband. She did fierce penance to gain his hand. Her friend took her to the forest to help her resolve. The word Haritalika comes from that very tale. Married women keep this fast for the long life of their husband. Unmarried girls keep it to gain a good groom. They fast without food or water through the day. They worship Shiva and Parvati and hear the sacred katha. The vrat brings married joy and good fortune.

Our verified Vedic priests recite the vrat katha with care. They chant the Shiva and Parvati mantras and make the offerings. The rite follows the full vidhi. Families book this puja for the long life of the husband and for happiness at home. Muhurat is taken fresh from the Panchang. Book Haritalika Teej Vrat Katha with us, and we handle the full vidhi.

He turns thought into words, and words into influence. When Budh shines strong, the devotee speaks with clarity and moves through ideas with ease. When his energy is afflicted, the gifts reverse. Words stumble. Thoughts scatter. Decisions feel impossible. The nervous system grows strained. For students, this can mean dropping grades. For professionals, losing influence. For everyone, the inner voice loses its clarity."
