Chandi Path and Homam's Details

Deity: Goddess Durga (Mata Durga Ji), the supreme Mother in all her forms

About the Puja: Chandi Path is the recitation of the Devi Mahatmya, also known as the Durga Saptashati. Seven hundred verses from the Markandeya Purana, recounting the great victories of Maa Durga. Her battle against Mahishasura. Her defeat of Shumbha and Nishumbha. Her many forms as she rises to protect dharma. When the Chandi Path is performed with a Homam (sacred fire ritual), the energy is multiplied. Each verse becomes an offering into the fire.

Our verified Vedic priests perform the complete Chandi Path in the classical Sanskrit tradition. The Kavacham, Argala Stotra, Keelakam, Saptashloki Durga, and the seven hundred verses follow in sequence. The Homam runs alongside, with prescribed offerings made into the fire with each verse. Families book this puja for health, prosperity, protection, and the welfare of the home. Muhurat is taken fresh from the Panchang. Book Chandi Path & Homam with us, and we handle the full vidhi.

Durga Gayatri Mantra Jaap Puja

Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh

"The Durga Gayatri is a special mantra dedicated to Maa Durga. It combines two of the most powerful prayer traditions in Hinduism. The energy of the original Gayatri Mantra, the mother of all Vedic mantras, and the protective grace of Maa Durga herself. Where the original Gayatri invokes the light of wisdom, the Durga Gayatri invokes the strength of the warrior mother. It is the mantra chosen when a devotee needs both inner clarity and outer protection at the same time."

Siddhi Kunjika Stotra

Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh

"The Kunjika Stotra is a powerful hymn to Mata Durga. The word kunjika means a key, the key to all power. The shastras say it holds the strength of the whole Durga Saptashati. One recital of it is said to equal the full text. It needs no long ritual and no hard rules to bear fruit. Mata Durga herself gave this hymn to Lord Shiva. She told him to keep it secret for its great power. The stotra grants the Mother's grace swift and sure. It clears enemies, fear, and every kind of trouble. Devotees chant it for strength, success, and protection."

Dussehra Puja

Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh

"Dussehra, also called Vijayadashami, is the day of victory. The word means "the tenth day of triumph." Tradition holds that on this day, after nine days of fierce battle, the Mother Goddess finally slew the demon Mahishasura and restored peace to the three worlds. The same day also marks Lord Ram's victory over Ravana, the demon king of Lanka. Across India, effigies of Ravana are burnt to mark this triumph of dharma over adharma. On this day the Mother is worshipped in her fiercest form. Mahakali, the one before whom no evil stands. Whatever the form, the meaning is the same. On Dussehra, evil falls. Good rises."
