Dashavatar Vishnu Puja
"Lord Vishnu is the protector of the whole universe. Whenever evil rises on earth, he takes birth to set things right. The shastras name his ten great avatars as the Dashavatar. They are Matsya the fish and Kurma the tortoise. Then come Varaha the boar and Narasimha the man-lion. After them come Vaman, Parshuram, Ram, and Krishna. The last two are Buddha and Kalki, who is yet to come. Each form saved dharma at its own hour of need. This puja honours all ten together in one worship."
Chaitra Navratra Puja
"Chaitra Navratri brings the nine sacred nights of the Goddess. They fall at the start of the Hindu new year, in the month of Chaitra. These are among the holiest days in the whole calendar. Devotees worship the nine forms of Durga, one for each day. The first day honours Shailputri and the last honours Siddhidatri. Each form grants a different blessing to the seeker. Many keep fasts and light the akhand jyoti through all nine days. The Mother is said to walk close to her devotees at this time. She gives strength to the weak and wealth to the deserving. People pray to her for safety, courage, and a fresh start."
Gau Beej Mantra Jaap Vidhan Puja
"Hindu tradition holds the cow as the most sacred of all animals. Sanatan Dharma sees Gau Mata as the home of all gods and goddesses. It is said that thirty-three crore devtas reside within her body. To serve the cow is to serve the whole of creation. Her worship is believed to lead the soul toward freedom. This puja honours Gau Mata through the chanting of her seed mantra. The Gau Beej Mantra carries the power to cleanse old karma. It brings peace to the soul and lifts the weight of ancestral dosha. Devotees have turned to this worship for generations."
Gau Puja (Kamdhenu)
"Kamdhenu is the divine cow of Hindu tradition. The wish-fulfilling cow who emerged from the cosmic ocean during the great churning. Her name means "the cow of desires." Tradition holds that whoever worships Kamdhenu receives whatever they ask for, because she carries within her body all the gods, all the sacred rivers, and all the elements of the cosmos. She is also called Surabhi, "the fragrant one," and is the divine mother of all cows on earth. To worship Kamdhenu is to ask the most generous mother of the universe for her blessing."
Shani Jayanti Maha Puja
"Shani Jayanti is the birth anniversary of Shani Dev. The single most powerful day of the year for any Shani puja. Tradition holds that Shani Dev was born to Surya Dev and Chhaya Mata on the Amavasya of the month of Jyeshtha. His birth came with profound spiritual force. Even Surya Dev, his own father, is said to have looked away from him at first sight, because Shani's gaze carries the weight of cosmic karma. To worship Shani Dev on his birth day is to ask the great teacher to soften his lessons and bring his hardest phases to a graceful conclusion."
Shri Vidya Shodashi Tripurasundari Mahavidya Puja and Homam
"Tripura Sundari is the third of the ten Mahavidyas. She is also known as Shodashi, "the goddess of sixteen," and Lalita, "the playful one." Of all the Mahavidyas, she is the most beautiful. The most beloved. The most associated with abundance and grace. The tradition that honours her is called Shri Vidya, one of the most refined Tantric paths in the Hindu tradition. It is said that to please Tripura Sundari is to receive everything a devotee could want. Wealth. Beauty. Intellect. Property. The full grace of the divine feminine."
Laghu Rudra Shanti Puja
"Laghu Rudra is one of the most powerful Shiva pujas in the entire Vedic tradition. It involves the chanting of the Sri Rudram eleven times, alongside the Chamakam, the companion hymn that follows the Rudram. This is the puja chosen when a devotee needs the full force of Shiva's grace. When obstacles have grown beyond ordinary remedies. When health, property, or family matters need divine intervention at the highest level. The eleven rounds of Rudram together form one Laghu Rudra, the foundation of all higher Shiva yajnas."
Ganga Pujan
"Ganga did not always flow on earth. Sage Bhagiratha did years of penance to bring her down, so her waters could free the souls of his ancestors. But her descent was so powerful, it would have shattered the earth. Lord Shiva caught her in his matted locks and let her flow gently onto the Himalayas. Since then, Ganga has been more than a river. She is the mother who takes away the sins of those who touch her waters."
Navratri Nav Durga Pujan
"Navratri is nine nights of devotion to Maa Durga. Each night honours one of her nine forms. Shailputri, Brahmacharini, Chandraghanta, Kushmanda, Skandamata, Katyayani, Kaalratri, Mahagauri, and Siddhidatri. The first three days bring strength. The next three bring prosperity. The final three bring wisdom. By the ninth night, the devotee has been blessed by every form of the Mother."
