Anannt Chaturdashi Vrat Katha
"Anant Chaturdashi is a holy day of Lord Vishnu. The word anant means the one without end. On this day devotees worship Vishnu in his endless form. They tie a sacred thread of fourteen knots on the wrist. This thread is called the Anant Sutra. Each knot stands for one of the worlds Vishnu holds. The shastras tell how the Pandavas kept this vrat. It returned to them all they had lost in their hard years. The vrat grants protection, plenty, and the grace of Vishnu. It also marks the farewell of Lord Ganesh in many homes. Devotees keep it with fasting and faith."
Shaligram Puja
"The Shaligram is a black, round stone found in the Gandaki river in Nepal. People have worshipped it for ages as a living form of Lord Vishnu. It needs no carving and no pran pratishtha. Tradition holds that Vishnu himself resides inside the stone. Each Shaligram carries marks and lines that point to a different form of the Lord. Some show Krishna, some show Narasimha, some show Vaman. Where the Shaligram is worshipped with love, Mata Lakshmi stays close by. She brings wealth, peace, and unity to that home. For this reason families keep it as the heart of their daily worship."
Mahakali Puja
"Mahakali is the supreme form of Kali Mata. Where Kali is the destroyer of evil, Mahakali is the destroyer of time itself. She is the goddess from whom even time emerges. Dark as the night sky. Wearing a garland of skulls. Standing on Lord Shiva who lies beneath her in surrender. Her tongue extended in fierce intensity. Mahakali is not gentle. She is not approachable in the way other forms of the Mother are. But for those who turn to her with absolute devotion, she gives the kind of protection that no other deity gives."
Vishnu Yajna and Purash Sukta Path
"This is a combined puja that brings together the Purusha Sukta hymn (the Rigvedic prayer to the cosmic being) and a full Vishnu Yajna. The Purusha Sukta is one of the oldest and most sacred Vedic hymns, describing the cosmic Purusha from whom the universe emerges. When it is recited alongside a Vishnu Yajna, the energy is multiplied. The cosmic prayer is anchored in the sacred fire. The offerings reach Vishnu directly through the flames. This is one of the most powerful Vishnu pujas in the entire Vedic tradition."
Baglamukhi Mata Puja
"Baglamukhi Mata is the eighth of the ten Mahavidyas. Her name comes from bagla, meaning "the one who silences," and mukhi, meaning "the face." She is the goddess who silences the voice of the enemy. Who paralyses the power to harm. Who freezes negative energy at its source. Her form is fierce, but her purpose is protection. She holds the tongue of her enemy in one hand, and a club in the other. Wherever Baglamukhi rules, no harm can move forward. Yellow is her sacred colour. Yellow flowers, yellow cloth, and turmeric are her offerings."
Satyanarayan Vrat Katha
"Satyanarayan Vrat is one of the most beloved household pujas in the Hindu tradition. The word satya means "truth," and Narayan is another name for Vishnu. To worship Satya Narayan is to align the family's life with the truth that Vishnu represents. The vrat is performed at home, often after a new beginning. A new home. A wedding. A child's birth. A successful business deal. The completion of a long-held goal. Tradition holds that those who keep this vrat with sincerity see their family flourish across every dimension of life."
Holika Puja and Katha
"Holika Puja is performed on the night before Holi. The story behind it is one of the most powerful in Hindu tradition. Holika was the sister of the demon king Hiranyakashipu. She had a boon that fire could not harm her. When her brother ordered her to kill his own son Prahlada, a devoted bhakta of Vishnu, she sat with him in a roaring fire, believing she would survive and the child would burn. But the opposite happened. Holika perished. Prahlada walked out unharmed. The fire that night marks the eternal truth. Where devotion stands, evil cannot. Holika Dahan, the burning of Holika, is observed every year to remember this victory."
Mauni Amavasya Vrat and Katha
"Mauni Amavasya is the new moon of the month of Magha. The word mauni means "the one who keeps silence." On this day, devotees observe a sacred fast, refrain from speech, and meditate in silence by the Ganga. Tradition holds that on this day, the sage Manu was born, the first ancestor of humanity. The day also falls during the holiest stretch of Magha Mela. Devotees bathe in the Ganga, worship the Pipal tree, and silently pray for the cleansing of every sin from this life and from past lives."
Vishnu Sahasranam Katha
"The Vishnu Sahasranamam is the thousand names of Lord Vishnu. Drawn from the Anushasana Parva of the Mahabharata, it was first recited by Bhishma Pitamah as he lay on his bed of arrows after the great war. Yudhishthira asked him for guidance on dharma. Bhishma's answer was the thousand names of Vishnu. The text is one of the most beloved prayers in the entire Hindu tradition. Each name carries a specific power. Each name is a doorway to a different aspect of Vishnu's grace. To recite the Vishnu Sahasranamam is to walk through all thousand doorways at once."

"The Lalita Sahasranamam is the thousand names of Lalita Tripura Sundari. The supreme goddess of beauty, wealth, and divine play. Each of the thousand names describes a different aspect of her form, her power, or her grace. She is Lalita, the playful one. Tripura Sundari, the most beautiful in the three worlds. Raja Rajeshwari, the empress of all empresses. The Sahasranamam is part of the Brahmanda Purana, and is one of the most beloved texts in the Shri Vidya tradition. To recite it is to walk the devotee through a thousand doorways of the goddess's beauty."
Gau Daan Puja
"Gau Daan means the gift of a cow. The shastras hold it as the greatest of all charity. To give a cow is to give a home to all the gods. Tradition says the cow carries the soul across after death. She helps it cross the river Vaitarani to the next world. This daan washes away the heaviest of old sins. It clears negative karma and the fear of the unknown. It is also the remedy for Nadi Dosh in a match. The gift brings the grace of Lord Krishna upon the giver. Devotees perform it before marriage and on holy days. It is one of the surest paths to moksha."
Shree Mad Bhagawad Geeta Katha Path
