Hanuman Jayanti Puja
"Hanuman Jayanti is the birth anniversary of Lord Hanuman. The single most powerful day of the year for any Hanuman puja. Tradition holds that on this day, Hanuman was born to Anjana Mata and Kesari, with the blessing of Vayu Dev, the wind god. As a child, he leapt towards the sun thinking it was a fruit. His childhood mischief gave way to a lifetime of devotion to Lord Ram. To worship Hanuman on this day is to invoke the strongest possible form of his protective grace."
Mauni Amavasya Vrat and Katha
"Mauni Amavasya is the new moon of the month of Magha. The word mauni means "the one who keeps silence." On this day, devotees observe a sacred fast, refrain from speech, and meditate in silence by the Ganga. Tradition holds that on this day, the sage Manu was born, the first ancestor of humanity. The day also falls during the holiest stretch of Magha Mela. Devotees bathe in the Ganga, worship the Pipal tree, and silently pray for the cleansing of every sin from this life and from past lives."
Shaligram Puja
"The Shaligram is a black, round stone found in the Gandaki river in Nepal. People have worshipped it for ages as a living form of Lord Vishnu. It needs no carving and no pran pratishtha. Tradition holds that Vishnu himself resides inside the stone. Each Shaligram carries marks and lines that point to a different form of the Lord. Some show Krishna, some show Narasimha, some show Vaman. Where the Shaligram is worshipped with love, Mata Lakshmi stays close by. She brings wealth, peace, and unity to that home. For this reason families keep it as the heart of their daily worship."
Mahakali Puja
"Mahakali is the supreme form of Kali Mata. Where Kali is the destroyer of evil, Mahakali is the destroyer of time itself. She is the goddess from whom even time emerges. Dark as the night sky. Wearing a garland of skulls. Standing on Lord Shiva who lies beneath her in surrender. Her tongue extended in fierce intensity. Mahakali is not gentle. She is not approachable in the way other forms of the Mother are. But for those who turn to her with absolute devotion, she gives the kind of protection that no other deity gives."
New Year Puja and Yajna
"The Hindu New Year begins in the month of Chaitra. Its first day is known as Gudi Padwa or Ugadi. Tradition holds that Lord Brahma made the world on this day. "Shreenathji is the beloved child form of Lord Krishna. He shows the Lord as a boy of seven years. The famous murti lifts Mount Govardhan on one raised finger. Krishna lifted that hill to shield the village from heavy rain. The Pushti Marg, founded by Shri Vallabhacharya, worships him with deep love. Devotees treat him as a living child, not a stone idol. They wake him, bathe him, feed him, and rest him each day. His worship is full of song, colour, and bhog. He grants growing wealth and lasting joy to the home. Maha Shivratri Group Puja
"Maha Shivratri is the great night of Lord Shiva. The shastras tell many tales of this sacred night. Some say Shiva married Parvati on this day. Others say he danced the cosmic dance of Tandav. It is the holiest night in all of Shiva worship. Devotees keep a fast and stay awake through the night. They bathe the Shivling and chant his sacred name. Siddhi Kunjika Stotra
"The Kunjika Stotra is a powerful hymn to Mata Durga. The word kunjika means a key, the key to all power. The shastras say it holds the strength of the whole Durga Saptashati. One recital of it is said to equal the full text. It needs no long ritual and no hard rules to bear fruit. Mata Durga herself gave this hymn to Lord Shiva. She told him to keep it secret for its great power. The stotra grants the Mother's grace swift and sure. It clears enemies, fear, and every kind of trouble. Devotees chant it for strength, success, and protection."
Gau Bhagavad Katha
"Hindu tradition holds the cow as the most sacred of all beings. Sanatan Dharma sees Gau Mata as the home of all the gods. It is said that crores of devtas reside within her body. To serve the cow is to serve the whole of creation. This katha tells the sacred stories of the holy cow. It sings of her place in dharma and her power to cleanse. Dashavatar Vishnu Puja
"Lord Vishnu is the protector of the whole universe. Whenever evil rises on earth, he takes birth to set things right. The shastras name his ten great avatars as the Dashavatar. They are Matsya the fish and Kurma the tortoise. Then come Varaha the boar and Narasimha the man-lion. After them come Vaman, Parshuram, Ram, and Krishna. The last two are Buddha and Kalki, who is yet to come. Each form saved dharma at its own hour of need. This puja honours all ten together in one worship."
Pratyangira Devi Puja
"Pratyangira Devi is a fierce form of the Divine Mother. She carries the face of a lion and the body of a woman. The shastras call her the great destroyer of dark forces. She was born to calm the rage of Narasimha and Sharabha. Her power is said to turn back any harm sent at a devotee. People turn to her when no normal remedy seems to work. She breaks the hold of black magic, hidden enemies, and strong curses. She guards the home against the evil eye and unseen attack. Her grace is swift, sure, and full of protection. Devotees seek her shelter in their hardest hours."
Chaitra Navratra Puja
"Chaitra Navratri brings the nine sacred nights of the Goddess. They fall at the start of the Hindu new year, in the month of Chaitra. These are among the holiest days in the whole calendar. Devotees worship the nine forms of Durga, one for each day. The first day honours Shailputri and the last honours Siddhidatri. Each form grants a different blessing to the seeker. Many keep fasts and light the akhand jyoti through all nine days. The Mother is said to walk close to her devotees at this time. She gives strength to the weak and wealth to the deserving. People pray to her for safety, courage, and a fresh start."
