Pind Daan Details
Deity: Pitra Devta (the ancestors) and Lord Vishnu (Vishnu Ji)
About the Puja: Pind Daan is the offering made to a loved one who has passed away. The pind is a rice ball, mixed with sesame, milk, and ghee. Each one is shaped by hand and offered with prayer. Tradition holds that the soul cannot move forward until Pind Daan is done in their name. It is the family's last loving duty. Lord Ram himself performed Pind Daan for his father, King Dasharatha, at Gaya.
Our verified Vedic priests perform the ritual with mantras from the Garun Puran. The offering is made to three generations of ancestors. Tarpan, the sacred water offering, is given alongside. The family is guided through every step. For grieving families, this is the moment when sorrow begins to soften. The duty has been done. Muhurat is taken fresh from the Panchang. Book Pind Daan with us, and we handle the full vidhi at the ghats.
