There are five types of Kailash (Panch Kailash) in our Sanatan Dharma: 1. Kailash Mansarovar 2. Adi Kailash 3. Mani Mahesh 4. Kinnaur Kailash 5. ShriKhand Kailash. The beliefs of all these Kailash are different, for Adi kailash it is said that here Lord Shiva first disclosed yoga and its benefits to Mother Parvati only after that Yoga became famous in human society.
The Pandavaas also spent considerable time in this area including worshipping Bhagwan Shiv - on the advice of Rishi Ved Vyas - when they needed wealth after the costly war of Mahabharat. Bhagwan Shiv blessed the Pandavaas and they returned to their kingdom. Even Lord Adi Shankaracharya performed penance in and around the area of Adi Kailash.
Therefore, by offering Puja at this holy place of penance of sages, saints and Pandavaas one gets the special blessings of Lord Shiva. Which gives strength to fight every problem that comes in life, Lord Shiva automatically fulfills all the wishes, which leads to wealth, a healthy life as well as family happiness and helps to strengthen devotion/Bhakti in Bhagwan Shiv.
